For over 5 years we have been proud to be an ever-growing pillar in the gutter industry. Continuing to grow and create with those around us is our goal with a continuously moving goal post. We hope to continue to expand within the gutter industry as a place to educate, engage, and elevate.
OUR STORY
Built on Expertise, Driven by Results
Founded in 2022 by Bren VanderZwaag GutterCon started in Denver CO with 50 people and a dream.
As GutterCon grew annually it became the premier industry event, presented by Bren and partner Drew Wittig it became a staple in the lives and businesses of many. Owners, operators, vendors, and people who wish to grow and see the gutter industry do the same.
GutterCon has now grown to roughly 6x its original size and continues to flourish through the years. In 2026 Gutter-Con was dealt a tragic loss by the passing of it's founder Bren Vandervwagg however Drew Wittig was determined to keep GutterCon going, though it has seen many ups and downs throughout its history he is proud to continue to elevate despite the setbacks. The GutterCon community gathered in Las Vegas in January 2026 as an event presented by Drew Wittig and other industry supporters who kept the conference active. Drew Wittig is the current owner and operator of GutterCon and is excited to see it continue to grow and elevate as the premier gutter industry annual event.
Our mission is Educate, Engage, Elevate. With new classes, speakers, vendors, and events we strive for success and growth while helping others do the same.

Drew is a pillar in the gutter community, a coach, and a friend to many. It is his goal to progress the growth of not only those around him but the gutter industry as a whole.

Our Journey thus far: The history of GutterCon
Gutter-Con was founded by Bran Vanderzwaag after he recognized that the gutter contractors lacked a major conference specifically dedicated to their industry.
The first Gutter-Con was held in Colorado in 2022 and included a visit to New Tech Machinery. From fewer than 100 participants as its inaugural event, GutterCon grew to approximately 300 attendees by 2024.
That growth demonstrated something important: the rain gutter industry wanted a place of its own.
Gutter-Con became a gathering where gutter contractors could learn about business development, sales, operations, installation, equipment, and emerging products while building relationships with contractors, manufacturers, distributors, and other industry professionals.
GutterCon entered a new chapter in 2026.
The loss of Bren could have easily marked the end of what he had created. Instead, people within the gutter industry came together.
The January 2026 Las Vegas gathering demonstrated that the community Bren helped build was larger than any single event schedule. Contractors and industry supporters gathered, shared knowledge, and continued the relationships that had become central to GutterCon.
Today GutterCon is continuing that mission while entering its new chapter.
Educate, Engage, Elevate.
Those three words represent where GutterCon is going: stronger educational programming, deeper industry engagement, and opportunities for gutter contractors and their businesses to reach the next level.
